As the global consensus around carbon neutrality grows and the Belt and Road Initiative reshapes international trade, the 2025 (China) Eurasia Expo has become a strategic platform for China’s high-end equipment manufacturers to showcase green innovation. At this year’s expo in Urumqi, Chitian Motor unveiled six new energy mining trucks—including pure electric, methanol-electric hybrid, and diesel-electric hybrid models—driven by its dual focus on "New Energy + Intelligence." The lineup offers a “China solution” to global mining challenges, setting a new benchmark for zero-carbon heavy-duty equipment in Central Asia.
Aligned with China’s Smart Mining Development Guidelines and Xinjiang’s development of ten strategic industrial clusters, Chitian’s mining trucks are engineered for rough terrain with structural strength over four times the national standard. The zero-emission electric models and hybrid models with autonomous driving capabilities support 24/7 operations, advancing decarbonisation in the mining sector.
Designed for Central Asia’s cold and dusty environments, the trucks feature an advanced thermal management system (operational from -30°C to 55°C) and IP68/IP69K-rated protection. Chitian has already signed purchase intentions with Central Asian mining groups such as those in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Chitian’s patented dual-balance chassis system solves a longstanding issue in the industry—load transfer on front axles—by dynamically distributing weight to reduce tyre wear and frame cracking. Combined with military-grade electric system protection, the vehicles achieve exceptional reliability in harsh environments.
The six featured models cover a range of powertrains:
Pure electric: Ultra-fast charging, ideal for short-haul efficiency.
Hybrid: Intelligent fuel-electric switching, balancing power and range.
Range-extended: Designed for remote sites with no charging infrastructure.
All models support autonomous driving via 192-line LiDAR and 5G-A cloud control, enabling safe, all-terrain unmanned operation.
In the “New Energy & Materials Pavilion” of the expo, Chitian’s booth attracted visitors from over 50 countries. The company launched its Silk Road Service Plan, including:
