Six New Energy Mining Trucks from Chitian Debut at China-Eurasia Expo, Pioneering a Green Revolution with Dual-Balance Technology
On June 26, 2025, the China-Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo opened in Urumqi under the theme “Enhancing Eurasian Cooperation, Sharing Silk Road Prosperity.” With over 2,000 domestic and international exhibitors, the event marked a new milestone in scale and influence. Among the highlights, Chitian Motor showcased six new rigid mining trucks powered by new energy and equipped with its patented dual-balance chassis, drawing strong attention from industry professionals and international buyers.
As a key platform under the Belt and Road Initiative, the 2025 expo adopted a “1+10+N” exhibition format focusing on Xinjiang’s ten industrial clusters. Chitian’s mining trucks were placed at the core of the New Energy and Materials Pavilion.
The six new models cover 55m³, 65m³, and 90m³ platforms, with GVW ranging from 160 to 190 tonnes. All models adopt drive-by-wire chassis technology and support autonomous driving. Designed for heavy-duty mining operations, these pure electric trucks deliver zero emissions, low noise, and powerful torque, along with extended range and efficient charging solutions. Their autonomous features significantly improve operational safety, reduce manpower, and cut fuel and maintenance costs—offering a smart, green, and cost-effective mining transport solution.
Chitian’s dual-balance chassis—a proprietary innovation—solves the long-standing issue of load transfer and instability on rough mining roads. By dynamically distributing axle loads, the system reduces tyre wear and frame fatigue. As Chitian’s technical lead puts it: “Electrification is not just about swapping engines; it's a complete vehicle redesign.”
The hybrid models feature modular architecture, compatible with pure electric and hybrid configurations. The TC series uses 228Ah high-capacity battery cells and reinforced battery housings that exceed GB/T 31467.3 vibration standards, ensuring performance on steep, bumpy terrain and eliminating common power interruptions.
A traditional diesel mining truck emits as much CO₂ as 1,200 passenger cars. Chitian’s electric models reduce emissions to zero, while hybrid models cut emissions by over 70%. Operating costs are also slashed—energy costs are reduced by over 50%, and maintenance by 30%. Over its lifecycle, a Chitian mining truck can save operators millions in running costs.
Chitian is accelerating its dual-circulation strategy, expanding into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. At the expo, a Central Asian mining company expressed strong interest and signed an intent to purchase 20 hybrid trucks, citing “high-altitude adaptability, cold-resistant battery tech, and dual-balance stability” as key factors.
Chitian’s mining trucks, dump trucks, and smart sanitation vehicles are ready for global deployment. Regional adaptations are underway: enhanced cooling systems for Southeast Asia, dustproofing for the Middle East, and powertrain optimisation for South American highlands.
With six models across three platforms, Chitian is leading the charge in the global shift toward clean, intelligent mining transport. As the silent hum of electric trucks echoes across Eurasian mines, a new chapter of Chinese intelligent manufacturing has begun.
